After an attack last week on Johnny Gargano, Karrion Kross would take some blows backstage at the NXT Champion. Kross would hit the ring and say that he gets it. Last week, Kross got him. Now, Gargano got him. However, he’s willing to die by the sword, is Gargano ready to do the same? Will Gargano be able to do the same in the ring when Kross can see the shot coming? Gargano would take the call out, and have to take a second to remind him who the hell he is.
Johnny Gargano Takes Another Shot At Karrion Kross
Last week, the NXT Champion hit him from behind like a coward, and the ring is where Gargano thrives. He doesn’t have a sword, but he’s got talent and is smarter than Kross. Theory would hit from behind and get Gargano the advantage, before he’d be thrown across the ring, pulled to the outside and nearly crushed by the steel steps.
Security held Kross back alongside Samoa Joe, and Gargano got the last laugh with a superkick. It’s clear this is going to be one of the next matches for the NXT Championship, and with Kross reportedly on the fast track to the main roster? Gargano might be the man to take him out. But for tonight, Theory & Gargano got their point across, and hit the road.
Swerve Lays Down The Challenge To Reed
Two years ago, we saw the NXT Breakout Tournament introduce names like Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes and Isiah Swerve Scott to NXT. Now in just two weeks, we will see the return of this tournament. WWE has a ton of great talent waiting, from former Evolve Champion Josh Briggs, to CZW Champion Joe Gacy just waiting for their chances.
However, out of that first tournament only two men won gold in NXT so far. First was Angel Garza, and then much later, Bronson Reed. Reed would be excited to see the coming names in the tournament, and while doing so? He’d be interrupted by Hit Row. Top Dolla, Adonis, Swerve and B-Fab all got in his face, with Swerve wondering why Reed is the one who got the North American Championship, not him.
Never one to turn down a challenge, when Swerve would suggest that Reed puts that North American Championship on the line later tonight? He’d nod in agreement and the match was made. Will Bronson Reed be able to remain champion tonight? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
