WWE Smackdown Results returned in timed for the Battle for the Crown, and Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce were backstage when a hacking Kevin Owens demanded a match with Zayn at HIAC.
Battle for the Crown – Shinsuke Nakamura w/Rick Boogs vs. King Corbin
Corbin went for a quick rollup, and then hit a knee as his intensity was through the roof.

Nakamura sidestepped Corbin’s charge into the corner, and Nakamura hit a series of kicks and swept out Corbin’s legs as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with Corbin in control with a neck lock on Nakamura.
Nakamura fought back, but Corbin hit a Deep Six off the ropes to halt the growing momentum, but Nakamura kicked out.
Nakamura locked in a choke hold, but Corbin shrugged him off. Nakamura then hit a step up kick and hit a sliding knee for a near pinfall.
Corbin blocked his next kick and hit a reverse suplex for a pin attempt, but Nakamura didn’t give up and hit a series of knees.

Corbin caught Nakamura’s kinsasha attempt with a clothesline that sent Nakamura spinning in the air.
Nakamura hit Corbin with a series of knees, then a kinsasha for the win and the crown.
Boogs crowned Nakamura on the stage while Corbin literally cried in the ring.
Setting the stage
Bianca Belair came out to the ring and said it felt good to put Bayley into her place last week and called for Bayley to come out, but she didn’t appear.
Belair said Bayley laughing at her took her back to when bullies used to give her a hard time and made her second guess herself, but she’s moved beyond that.
She then said she wants Bayley in the Hell in a Cell and promised to drag her faces across the cage and body slam her over and over again so she won’t be laughing.

Bayley then came out and took a swing, but Belair ducked and they exchanged blows before Belair tossed her to the floor and into the announce desk and then over the barricade.
Bayley grabbed Belair’s hair and pulled her into the barricade, and hammered away on her before she threw her into the ring and hit a running knee and followed that by slamming Belair face first into the mat.
Bayley stood on her hair and held up the woman’s championship.
Jimmy’s all in
Backstage, Jimmy Uso approached Reigns and said he thought about what he said and Reigns was right about representing the family. He may not always agree, but they’re family.

He said he hasn’t heard from Jey all week, and that he either went home of doesn’t want to see him.
Jimmy pledged his help if Reigns needs it. Reigns said no and that he needs his brother and that they both need his brother and not to worry about tonight.
He wants Jimmy to figure out where Jey is.
Otis w/Chad Gable vs. Angelo Dawkins
Gable drew Dawkins to the floor where Otis nailed him and they threw him bad shoulder first into the ring steps. Otis held him for Gable to hit a knee off the apron, and all before the match started.
Otis threw Dawkins into the ring where Gable held him for Otis to his a discuss lariat and Gable followed it with a reverse suplex that sent Dawkins to the floor.
Well, so much for Dawkins getting his pound of flesh. WWE Smackdown Results aren’t surprised about this, but we had hoped there’d be an actual match. Guess not.
