Last week, following a hard fought victory over The Blade, Christian Cage was officially named the number one contender for Kenny Omega and the AEW World Champion. He also declared that this week he’s going to drum up some chaos, something he is Elite at. What will Christian have to say tonight?
Don Callis Tries To Rip Into Christian
He’d come out following the six man tag team match between The Elite & Matt Sydal, Mike Sydal, and Dante Martin. However, Christian Cage didn’t come alone, as he was alongside the number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships in Jurassic Express. Don Callis would try to sell the title match for All Out, but the mere mention of Chicago caused major CM Punk chants.
He’d get things back on track, and claim the Christian has an incredible finisher, and Omega can’t wait to kick out of it. Christian would finally get a chance to talk, and started by calling Callis a carny jack-off. He was talking to Tony Khan earlier this year, when the match was locked in for All Out. Scott D’Amore was there, and there was another match set.
Christian Cage vs. Kenny Omega Confirmed For Debut Episode Of AEW Rampage
We don’t need to wait until All Out to see Kenny Omega & Christian Cage clash however. On the debut episode of AEW Rampage this Friday, there is a World Title Match signed. However, it’s not for the AEW World Championship, but rather for the Impact World Championship. That’s a helluva way to kick off a new show, and gives us a taste of what is to come at All Out.
But that is not all, as Jurassic Express also have a big match ahead. They will face The Young Bucks next week on AEW Dynamite, with a big chance at the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The Elite won their match tonight, but who knows who will have the last laugh come Friday or next Wednesday.
