At All Out, The Young Bucks will be forced to defend their AEW World Tag Team Championships on their own, as they enter a steel cage. To decide their opponents, a quick tournament has been planned, and it starts tonight on AEW Rampage. Private Party will take on Jurassic Express, with the winner moving forward. Jurassic Express are just coming off an attempt on the Young Bucks on Dynamite, where they proved they are as close as anyone to doing so.
Jurassic Express Moves Forward
The Young Bucks would grab a seat on top of the ramp, and Lucha Bros would watch from the crowd alongside Varsity Blondes. Everyone is scouting for the coming matches, and Private Party would get Jungle Boy isolated in their corner early on. However, his insane speed and skill would allow him to fight off the two on one attack, before being pulled back into their corner.
Throughout the picture-in-picture break, Jungle Boy remained isolated by Private Party. Since aligning with Matt Hardy, they’ve been rougher than usual, and more solid with their fundamentals. However, they looked for Poetry in Motion before Jungle Boy launched himself instead.
He’d get a tag to Luchasarus, who would tear everyone down. A huge back body drop would punish Kassidy, before he’d set up Jungle Boy for a superplex, before Kassidy hit a destroyer off the top rope. He’d follow up with a shooting star press to the outside, but when they went for the silly string in the ring, Jurassic Express countered into a cutter. A deep roll up from Kassidy on Jungle Boy got a two count as Marko Stunt caused a distraction, before Jungle Boy countered Gin & Juice and nailed Jurassic Express for the win.
Jade Cargill Is Too Powerful
Since showing up in AEW as part of a feud between Cody Rhodes & Shaq, Jade Cargill has become a force to be reckoned with in the AEW Women’s division. Tonight, she faces Kiera Hogan, who has proven herself in Impact Wrestling, where she was one half of the Knockout Tag Team Champions. Can Cargill defeat her more experienced opponent tonight?
Hogan was already in the ring, and went right at Jade with some big strikes. A KO blow would win the match, but Jade caught her with Jaded very quickly to claim a win. Jade doesn’t do much to win her matches, but the results speak for themselves.
Who can beat Jade Cargill? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
