The Young Bucks have been unstoppable as AEW World Tag Team Champions, and it’s on them to get The Elite back on track tonight. They played a hand in costing Kenny Omega the Impact World Championship, and tonight could risk losing their gold to Jurassic Express. Jungle Boy has been on a constant rise as a singles star, but tonight he teams with Luchasaurus to show The Young Bucks are not unbeatable.

The Young Bucks Show Their Tag Team Chemistry

Jungle Boy would start up with Nick Jackson, and they’d see who is more agile to start. Nick would do a backflip off the apron to try and prove his point, before Jungle Boy dove right onto him. Back in the ring, Nick would get too close to Luchasarus, and get punched out for his troubles. Luchasarus would ragdoll both Young Bucks, before Jungle Boy hit a rolling senton for a two count.

A knee to the back by Nick would allow Matt to set up the IndyTaker, before Jungle Boy slipped out and took Nick off the apron with a hurricanrana. Matt would take Jungle Boy out with a dropkick through the ropes, before diving into Luchasauru on the other side of the ring. Jungle Boy was sent into the ring, and would find himself isolated in the corner of The Young Bucks.

The plan was to keep Luchasarus out of the ring, and so far it’s been working wonderfully. Jungle Boy would slip free of the Young Bucks however, and completed the tag despite their best efforts. Luchasarus would fend off both Young Bucks, nailing a double lariat. Nick would block the chokeslam and take a kick to the face, before going up top and being kicked down.

Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus Get Robbed

Jungle Boy would tag in and hit a brainbuster off the shoulders of Luchasaurus, getting a two count before Matt broke the pinfall up. Luchasarus avoided a double superkick and hit two Tailwhips before a double chokeslam. He’d work in tandem with Jungle Boy for a cutter, but only got two.

Looking for their finisher would lead to disaster as both men took double superkicks before Jungle Boy was nailed with an IndyTaker. Kenny Omega ran to ringside with a chair and fed it into the ring before Christian Cage ran him away. Jungle Boy would use the chair for a brainbuster on Matt, but Nick broke the pinfall up. They’d nail Jurassic Express, but Nick again broke the pinfall up.

The Elite swarmed the ring and Jungle Boy and Luchasarus did their best. Jungle Boy nearly got the win off a roll up, but a BTE Trigger found him and The Young Bucks were able to get the win.

Like all Young Bucks matches, this was a tag team masterclass. They played the heel role great, and Jurassic Express were the ultimate babyfaces here tonight. Just a great and exciting match, despite a messy final stretch. Match Rating: 4/5 (****)

Gallows would pull Christian Cage back into the ring, as The Elite beat down their foes. Omega nailed a One Winged Angel on Christian Cage. Can Christian hope to repeat his win at All Out? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
