There’s been plenty of action in the Impact Wrestling world lately to get the professional wrestling world talking, but there looks to be more surprises as for the former Iiconics and Laredo Kid may be at this week’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings.
One of the tough things about doing regular TV tapings is it’s easy for fans to get and hear spoilers, and while these are technically in the spoiler category, they’re also something that helps heighten our anticipation.
Christian Cage isn’t a surprise as he defeated Kenny Omega on AEW Rampage on Friday to win the Impact World Championship, and he’s also been advertised as being in Nashville, Tennessee for two days this week.

The Iinspiration
While he’s expected to be there, some of the biggest news are potential new arrivals in the Laredo Kid and former WWE women’s tag team champions the Iiconics, now reportedly known as The IInspiration.
They’ll also be wrestling under Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, short versions of their real names.
While their arrival hasn’t been verified, Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay posted pictures of themselves in front of a “Dream On” backdrop and their locations said Nashville, Tennessee.
It’s worth noting the rest of their posts on Instagram didn’t have locations listed.
It’s been a while since we last saw Lee and McKay compete in a ring, and that reportedly had a lot to do with problems with them getting their green cards.
It was reported by several outlets that they had to wait for their new green cards to be processed, and in a way it may work out to everyone’s benefit as they get a true fresh start.
Laredo Kid returns
It’s going to be fun to have the Laredo Kid back in Impact Wrestling again.
He’s a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, and iscurrently under contract with AAA as their World Cruiserweight Champion and has occassionally appeared in AEW since it’s inception.
Many fans will remember him being in Impact Wrestling from 2017-2019 during which time he teamed up with Garza Jr. (Angel Garza) and competed in the Impact Tag Team Championship Tournament.
It’s going to be fun seeing the new additions to Impact Wrestling even if they’re only going to be there for a short time.
