When it comes to the career of Bryan Danielson, it’s had some huge moments. He’s wrestled in NJPW, Ring of Honor, WWE and everywhere in between – and now he’s added AEW to that list. He joined the company starting at All Out, but his match with Kenny Omega was his in-ring debut for the company.

It was already touted as a dream match before it started, and it delivered on the hype with an epic thirty minute time limit draw. However, Danielson has given it the biggest praise of all – calling it the biggest match of his career.

The Biggest Match Of Bryan Danielsons Career

While speaking with BarStool ‘Rasslin, Danielson would talk about his match with Kenny Omega from Dynamite this past Wednesday. He’d have big praise for it, saying the following. “I realised last week this is the biggest match of my career. I’ve main evented Wrestlemanias… But this moment feels like the biggest match of my career.”

Bryan was in the main event of Night Two of Wrestlemania 36 earlier this year, a match he’d later say he felt out of place in. His passion for professional wrestling was low, and some fans were even worried he might retire following leaving WWE. However, alongside Kenny Omega, Bryan would have the New York crowd as loud as any crowd we’ve ever seen in professional wrestling.

Add in that he was able to really wrestle his own unfiltered style against one of the best in the world – and it’s not hard to see why he feels so positively about this match. It was also his first time getting a five star match from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, but I doubt that really countered towards the comment being made.

Do you agree that this is the biggest match of his career? Is this a way for him to say that AEW is better than WWE without outright saying it? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
