Back at Glory By Honor, Bandido was able to successfully defend the ROH World Championship against Flip Gordon. However, following that match all hell would break loose. Suddenly Brody King, EC3, and Demonic Flamita all wanted title shots – and had claims to them. EC3 has climbed the rankings. Flamita won Six Man Mayhem. Brody King was screwed last time he got a shot. So Bandido would choose to fight them all tonight, in a Four Way Elimination match!
EC3 Gets Played By Demonic Flamita
All four men would stare each other down as the match started, but EC3 & Brody King took the ring as Flamita & Bandido brawled on the outside. King would throw EC3 across the ring, and Bandido & Flamita took the ring briefly. Bandido would win out, before diving onto King and ending up in the front row. They couldn’t take him home, and he met mask protocols at least.
EC3 would take the ring with Bandido, and apply a powerful neck crank. Bandido would fight out but get dropped. Flamita broke the pinfall up for some reason, likely wanting to get his rival himself before going after EC3 and taking a jumping lariat. EC3 was controlling the ring, hitting a back body drop on Bandido and staying calm and stoic.
A T-Bone suplex would follow, before King was back in. King looked for a superplex, but was taken down with a powerbomb from EC3 and had Bandido thrown onto him twice! EC3 looked for a J-Driller, and Flamita used a steel chair – once again saving Bandido. He’d use the chair, and get DQ’d, after the referee missed the shot from Flamita! Flamita played him like a fiddle, and we’re down to three.
Mexiblood Take The Fight To Brody King
Bandido & Flamita were taken down by Brody King, before Mexiblood worked together once again to take him down with the Muta Lock & Dropkick, before a double moonsault. Flamita & Bandido put their issues aside to take King down with the Wheelbarrow Backflip for a two count. Neither man got the fall, and King came back with some major strikes. King would get caught with a doomsday destroyer from Mexiblood.
He’d smartly roll to the outside, but Bandido powerbombed Flamita instead of a dive to the outside, getting a two count… and then throwing Flamita at King. Bandido hit a moonsault off the top rope, and got both men on the outside. King would get back into the fight, and hit All Seeing Eye, a rare move of his, to take Flamita out. This one was now one on one, Bandido vs. Brody King.
They’d shake hands before getting into some strikes. Bandido hit a twisting dive for a two count, before being planted with a Uranage and snap piledriver for a near fall. King set him up on the top rope and nailed a huge chop, but Bandido came back with one his own before a Dragonrana for a two count.
Bandido got a crucifix driver, getting a two count. Going up top, Shooting Star Press landed and King kicked out at one. King nailed the Discuss Lariat and wanted the Gonzo Bomb before Bandido countered and rolled up around the ring before tying him up with a cradle for the win.
A smartly booked and chaotic match, which saw EC3 & Brody King set up as monsters, Flamita as smarter than he is given credit for, and Bandido as a proper champion. Match Rating: 4.25/5 (**** 1/4)
After the match, The Foundation came to the ring. Jonathan Gresham had eyes on the belt, but Vincent & The Righteous would come out as well. Vincent has a title shot in the bag after beating Taven, Gresham just came off a historic reign as Pure Champion, and Alex Zayne returned and won a Battle Royale. Who will get the next shot?
