When we see some of our favorite reality stars hanging out, we get excited and then also curious if they actually have anything in common. This happened when Jill and Derick Dillard went to hang out with Jeremy and Audrey Roloff in Oregon. Many of their fans thought that they were filming a show, but it looks like they are friends and they just wanted to spend a weekend together.
Jill and Derick went to Oregon for a weekend and spent some time with the Roloffs. Of course, their fans were all curious how they know each other and the couples were quick to share the stories of their friendships.
No More Reality TV
These two couples seem to have left reality television very early on. They all have their own lives that they want to focus on and didn’t like the spotlight very much. Jeremy grew up on Little People, Big World and Jill grew up on 19 Kids and Counting.
Their spouses did appear on the shows, just slightly, but they were helpful when it came to their other halves wanting off the shows. Jill and Jeremy have some things in common and their Christian upbringing is one. The Roloffs raised their children as Christian fundamentalists, but it looks like both Jill and Jeremy broke away from that when they got older.
When Jill left the show, she told fans, “We just wanted more control of our own lives. There was a certain job that we had been working towards, even before we were married, that was taken away from us.” Jeremy told his fans, “Audrey and I will continue the work the Lord called us to do.” With all of the work that they do for their churches, it seems as if the Roloffs and the Dillards have a lot in common and that is what has truly bonded them together.
This is not the first time that the Dillards have been with the Roloffs though. They actually have been chatting for over two years now and they finally got some time to hang out.
Jill and Derick also got to meet up with Zach and Tori Roloff and their children. They spent some time at the beach and they were happy for their children to hang out together and have a good time.
It is good to see differnt families bonding over their beliefs and lifestyles. We hope that they had a great time together.
