Adam Cole may have been one of the most shocking signings for AEW over the past year. It was a massive surprise that the leader of NXT’s best faction, Undisputed Era, joined AEW. However, in a bunch of releases, Bobby Fish was also released from WWE.
It was originally thought that Bobby Fish was going to sign with MLW. But soon after, the rumours started that he was signing with AEW after a confirmed match with current TNT champions Sammy. At the moment, we haven’t seen both men interact with each other. But Adam Cole has recently commented on a former stablemate joining AEW.
Adam Cole speaking about Bobby Fish
Speaking at New York Comic-Con, Adam Cole had this to say :
“The last time I was around Bobby Fish, things with my former group didn’t end so well. I’m not sure we’re on the best terms. However, I am very happy that he’s in AEW. I hope everybody else is too. We’ll see if it gets to the point where we invite him into The Elite. I don’t know if I’m emotionally ready for that yet. “
Will Bobby Fish join The Elite?
Looking at the current members of The Elite. It’s very unlikely that we will see, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to see Adam Cole and Bobby Fish together at some point. There is definitely a story to be told between both of them in AEW.
Their story together has been going way before the NXT days as they were also in ROH. It’s very likely we see them together at some point. The biggest question is, will we see more members of the Undistributed Era join AEW in the future for a reunion?
