MJF was ready to wrestle a few weeks ago when he called out Darby Allin – knowing damn well that Allin was injured from an attack from The Pinnacle. Last time on Dynamite, alongside Shawn Spears & Wardlow they beat down Sting. However tonight, he needs to get into the ring for a match as he looks to send another message to both Sting & Darby Allin. MJF claims to be better than them, and tonight by the time the bell rings for the second time – they will know it.
Malakai Black Has A Message For Cody Rhodes
Before this match, we heard from Malakai Black after his loss to Cody Rhodes. Black reminded Cody that he turned his family against him, turned the AEW fans against him, and more. This isn’t about pinfalls or submissions in the ring, it’s about something much deeper.
Black is keen to take the best of Rhodes away, and one loss won’t do that. Rhodes will have to keep an eye out, as Black has been gaining fan support over him as well as some dangerous allies – including Andrade El Idolo & Brody King. The House Always Wins was something Black had to say, and The House of Black is becoming something to fear.
MJF Wrestles Grueling Match
This one would have a 20 minute time limit, and MJF brought Wardlow & Spears as he set to face Bryce Donovan. A local talent who has trained in MMA since he was ten years old. MJF offered a handshake, before kicking him in the gut and whipping him into the ropes. The Heatseeker would land, and MJF pinned Donovan with a single finger to go 14-0 in singles matches on AEW Dynamite.
After this grueling match, MJF grabbed a microphone and said this crowd was lucky to see him wrestle. It’s one of the things he does best, and the other is sleeping with ring rats but he will skip that this week. He’d mock the mothers of everyone in the audience, calling them disgusting before moving onto Darby Allin – who MJF also finds disgusting.
On September 29th, Darby Allin interrupted MJF and claimed that he couldn’t break him mentally. Now he’s too scared to show up to work, and his mentor Sting paid for it as well. He punched him out with the Dynamite Diamond Ring – which he beat Hangman Page for. After Full Gear, with Darby out of the picture – he’s going for gold, no matter who holds it.
Darby Allin Lays Down The Challenge For Full Gear
The music of Sting would hit, but this was a tease set up by The Pinnacle, and MJF played the role of scared perfectly before laughing at the crowd. Lights would go out, and a slow version of MJF’s theme would play. A black and white video of Allin beating up a fake MJF aired, and Sting was behind them with a baseball bat.
Sting took Spears & Wardlow out, and Allin was in disguise in the crowd. MJF showed his speed as he ran to the ramp, and Allin grabbed a Thumbtack laden skateboard to beat Wardlow with – and MJF refused to help his allies. Allin would lay down the challenge for Full Gear.
