Jade Cargill is on a path of pure destruction. She has been ever since she entered AEW alongside NBA legend Shaq, but in recent weeks she’s been getting some major wins under her belt. Beating Nyla Rose & Thunder Rosa in a Triple Threat match is something that can define a career, and Jade did just that. Tonight on Rampage, she looks to keep pushing forward with a match against another up and coming name in Skye Blue.
Jade Cargill Shows That Skye Blue Is No Match
Now ranked #1 in the AEW Women’s division, Jade is looking as unstoppable as ever before. Skye Blue was running her mouth and saying she’s TBS Champion material, but Jade wants to show that she’s not on that level. Jade is 16-0 in AEW, and if Blue gets the win here? She’d be a star.
An elbow strike stunned Jade, but a crossbody was caught into a Fallaway Slam. Blue went into the corner, but failed to kick Jade in the face as originally planned. Jade nailed a big pump kick to the midsection, before Blue would look for a wheelbarrow slam and get caught in Jaded. This was a dominant win, and puts Cargill to 17-0. After the match, she’d keep the attack coming – and Thunder Rosa made the save. Seems they’re set for a one on one clash very soon – or in the TBS Tournament.
Rising Too Far Too Fast?
While there is no doubt that Jade Cargill can look, walk and talk like a champion. Her big win over Nyla Rose & Thunder Rosa showed some serious confidence in Jade as well, with many feeling that in the coming tournament for the TBS Championship – she will be the favorite. Hell, she’s already come up with a relevant catch phrase in turning TBS into That Bitch Show.
However, as shown by tonight’s match – Jade isn’t quite at the level of being able to face any opponent and bring out their best. That’s what a champion in pro wrestling does, and something that Britt Baker & Kenny Omega are actively doing in AEW. Will Jade Cargill show that champion gear during the TBS Championship tournament?
