Impact Wrestling not only put on an awesome pay-per-view with Knockouts Knockdown, but the show closed with news that shook the professional wrestling world with the announce of The IInspiration debuting at Bound For Glory.
Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, formerly Peyton Royce and Billie Kay in the WWE, are officially joining Impact Wrestling following their WWE release and getting some paperwork squared away to allow then to work again.
They’re joining a stacked Knockouts roster that arguably the best in professional wrestling, and will give the tag division and its champions, Decay, some great matches.

Heel or face?
It’s still up in the air whether The IInspiration will be a heel or face team, and given most of Impact’s Knockdown tag teams are heels, it should be an interesting choice.
Lee and McKay are so good at playing the heel role it could be hard for them to make the transition, but if anyone can it’ll be them.
They have a certain charisma that makes you want to cheer for them, but they can also be super annoying, which is a talent unto itself.
Whichever way they go, we’re excited to see them in action again and they’ll help elevate the Knockouts division to greater heights and provide a new layer to the storytelling.
We’re stoked to see who they’re going to target for their debut, and we’re sure it’s going to be a fun exchange whoever it is.
After their time in the WWE where it seemed like the creative team didn’t know what to do with them, they’ll be in a company that makes it a point to encourage them to be themselves.
Under Scott D’Amore, Impact Wrestling works with the talent to help them become their best in and out of the ring instead of forcing them into another’s vision.
It’s a freeing system that’s allow others like Brian Myers and Matt Cardona to find themselves and become the top tier performers the WWE envisioned but wasn’t able to make a reality.
More to come?
Impact Wrestling has been making splash after splash with fresh talent coming in, but The IInspiration may not be the only ones appearing at Bound For Glory.
While the last few years Slammiversary was the place where Impact Wrestling made their splashes, this year it looks like Bound For Glory is the place to be.
A few weeks back, Scott D’Amore teased Braun For Glory, meaning Braun Strowman, and it looks even more likely after Strowman joined EC3’s Free the Narrative.
It could be the gateway to him joining Impact Wrestling.
Another possibility is Buddy Murphy, who D’Amore also teased but it was for that night’s IMPACT!.
