After Ethan Page failed to claim the TNT Championship from Sammy Guevara, all that was left before Full Gear was for The Inner Circle to make a choice. While Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky will be wrestling at the event against the united front of the Inner Circle. However it’s up to The Inner Circle who from American Top Team will step into the ring – and tonight, we find out who they decided to choose.
Who Will Face Inner Circle At Full Gear?
Before Jericho could get to the point, American Top Team, Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky. Dan Lambert would cut his tired cheap heat promo, Jericho called them dump idiots. The crowd was led in a “Fat Faced Dipshit” chant, and Lambert reacted thusly. He just wanted to know who the American Top Team would be sending into Full Gear.
Lambert would introduce who the options were. Men of The Year are in, and MMA options like Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski, Jorge Masvidal, and more. Dos Santos was picked first by Jake Hager. Santana picked Andrei Arlovski. Paige Van Zant wanted to get into the mix, insisting to join the fight to beat down Chris Jericho. She claimed to be ready to take all five at once, and Jericho said that was more suited to her OnlyFans page.
However, they chose Dan Lambert himself. The open contract allows this – and the match is set. Inner Circle vs. Dan Lambert, Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski & Men Of The Year.
Anna Jay Can’t Beat The Numbers Game
The tournament to crown the first ever TBS Champion rages on, with another first round match in the mix for tonight. Dark Order’s number 99 of Anna Jay will get into the ring with the enforcer of Britt Baker D.M.D, Jaime Hayter. Jay recently clashed with Baker on Rampage and showed how far she has come, and got a win alongside Abadon & Kris Statlander over Hayter, Baker & Rebel on the Jericruise – so Jay knows how to take Hayter down.
Hayter would hit the ring with Baker & Rebel behind her, while Jay rode alone. A big lock up would see Hayter get Jay on the ropes, but a kick to the gut got things back on track. Hayter would get some help from Baker, but on the outside was thrown into the barricade. Jay threw her into the ring, only to be stomped out as Hayter got the high ground.
Jay would fight back, but Hayter grabbed a handful of hair to drop her opponent before retaking control. Baker would taunt as Hayter attacked the previously injured shoulder, before getting some blows in herself. Jay refuses to quit, nailing a big DDT for a two count. Queenslayer was applied, but Hayter countered the first attempt. Rebel ran a distraction, Baker tripped Jay up, and a lariat moved Hayter to the next round.
A standard and rather sloppy match until they got moving – and then it ended. Nothing impressive here from either lady. Match Rating: 2/5 (**)
After the match, Tay Conti & Thunder Rosa prevented a further beatdown to Jay. Will Jaime Hayter be able to get past Thunder Rosa in the next round? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
