Next week on AEW Dynamite: Road Rager, Ethan Page intends to be the final nail in the coffin of Darby Allin. They will meet in the first ever Coffin Match in AEW history, and given their pre-AEW history, it’s going to be absolutely insane.
Ethan Page Wants To Mentally Scar Darby Allin
When asked “Why a Coffin Match?”, Page would be honest. What he’s been doing to Allin hasn’t been enough. The crowd would be against letting him talk, but he’d power through. His goal isn’t to beat Darby Allin. He wants to exterminate Allin. No one else in AEW has tried to end Allin as much as Page.
Throwing him into the crowd from the ring, or even down the stairs couldn’t do it. On the indies, busting his head with a shovel couldn’t do it. But Page hopes that this match will mentally scar Allin, and that every time he does a Coffin Drop, he’ll think of Page. He will think of everything Page has done to him.Page would again be interrupted by someone, but this time it’d be Sting pulling a coffin to the ramp.
Darby Allin would be inside, and Sting would help drop Sky as Allin dug at the eyes of Page with some very sharp looking fingernails. Page would try to cancel the match because he’s not 100%, and wants on paper that Allin won’t attack him the week before a match. Maybe if Allin behaves, they’ll get the match at Fyter Fest.
Jungle Boy Gets Win #50 In AEW
This past Saturday Night on a special episode of AEW Dynamite, Jungle Boy took AEW World Champion Kenny Omega to his limits. He came up short in the end, and afterwards had to be saved by Christian Cage as the Hardy Family Office attacked. Jungle Boy got out without too much damage, and this week he starts to pick away at the HFO as he gets Jack Evans one on one. Also, this could be the 50th win of Jungle Boy in AEW, first to make that history.
Evans would show his speed as he took Jungle Boy down with a headscissor, before they’d battle for control on the mat. Jungle Boy dodged a dropkick and got a Snare Trap attempt, but Evans slipped to the ropes. Evans was next to dodge a dropkick, and he’d follow up with a kick across the ribs, before being sent across the ring with an armdrag. Jungle Boy would lose control and take a snap suplex, before a handspring back elbow and a missile dropkick.
Jungle Boy retook control with a basement dropkick and a big lariat, starting a major comeback. Evans went for a spinning roundhouse and was blocked, before going to the top rope. Jungle Boy would fail to get the superplex, but blocked a Spider German Suplex. Evans was taken to the mat and put in the Snare Trap, getting his 50th win.
Before HFO could rush the ring, Jurassic Express & Christian would make the save. Christian dropped Hardy with a reverse DDT, but Hardy ran away before he’d take the Killswitch. When will Hardy & Christian finally meet in the ring officially? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
