There is only one more spot left in the quarter-finals of the TBS Championship Tournament – and that changes tonight. The Bunny has been dangerous lately, not really rolling with the Hardy Family Office, but instead Penelope Ford. This two one one advantage has proven hard to crack for even veterans like Ruby Soho, so tonight when Red Velvet steps up? Does she even have a chance of making it to the next challenge of Jade Cargill?
Super Kliq Get Called Out For Match At Full Gear By Christian Cage
Before this match and just moments after CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston was confirmed for Full Gear, we’d hear from Christian Cage, Luchasarus & Jungle Boy. The Super Kliq called themselves tough guys – and Christian can’t see this. They’re good at sneak attacks, good at Cirque Du Soleil flips, but tough guys? No way. That’s not what they are, all three men can agree on that.
This is what they are challenging the Super Kliq to a six man Falls Count Anywhere match at Full Gear. If you talk the talk, you should be ready to walk the walk. Fans of AEW know how tough The Young Bucks are, from their Steel Cage match with the Lucha Bros alone, but they will once again have to prove it as The Super Kliq makes their AEW PPV debut – provided they are ready to accept such a match.
Red Velvet Starts A Revenge Tour Through The TBS Tournament
Velvet would hit the ring with some fury, hitting a thesz press and some mounted punches. She remembers that Bunny was crucial in a brass knuckles attack, and was relentless tonight. A big leg lariat would take Bunny down and to the outside, where Velvet dashed in with another lariat. Jade Cargill was scouting at ringside, which ended up being a distraction for Velvet who would be kicked face first into the steel steps.
Back in the ring, she’d take a running dropkick into the corner. However she was able to fire back and hit a Stunner for a two count. The Bunny would avoid some kicks and grab the tights for a two count. Death Valley Driver would land, getting another near fall. Velvet would counter Down The Rabbit’s Hole, and nail the Final Slice for the win.
A fast paced match, maximizing their time on this show – and now we have Jade Cargill vs. Red Velvet set for the Quarter Finals. They’ve clashed before, and Jade stomped Velvet out, will the result be the same? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
