Australian Senator Jacqui Lambie posted a bizarre TikTok video of herself dancing to a remixed video of a parliamentary speech she gave in which she stated that anti-vaxxers should accept the consequences of their actions.
Australian Senator Jacqui Lambie Dances To A Remixed Video Of Her Own Speech Slamming Anti-Vaxxers
Jacqui, for her part, made a passionate speech against a discrimination bill that was introduced, which aimed to end restrictions on anti-vaxxers that would be imposed on them by virtue of their unvaccinated status.
In a speech at the time, she had remarked: “Being held accountable for your own actions isn’t called discrimination. It’s called being – you wouldn’t believe it – a goddamn bloody adult.”
This went on to be turned into a viral TikTok with over 500,000 views. But rather than take offence to it, Jacqui decided to embrace the video with open arms. So much so that she went on to make her own dance of it.

In the video here, Jacqui is seen miming to the remix. And as the music hits the crescendo, she responded by going into an all-out dance.
Although she revelled with the newfound popularity, there were some other issues she had to deal with. It turned out that Jacqui’s number had been leaked online. Therefore, she started to get some unwanted criticism.
As such, she had no choice but to change it in the hope of being able to protect herself. While she recognises that people may not agree with her views, it did not justify these actions.
In an official statement, she remarked: “I know that my number’s been out there, and I understand that..You know what else upsets me, though, is people want to leave their messages or whatever else.
“But they’re such cowards, they come in through no caller ID.” The response on social media to Jacqui’s behaviour, including the dance video, was one of ridicule.
People could not fathom why a Senator would behave in such a way by dancing on social media. One person on Twitter wrote: “I think she may be having an adverse reaction.”
Regardless of what you think about Jacqui’s stance, she certainly has started a conversation that needs exploring. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
