Chris Daughtry’s wife Deanna has denied speculation that her daughter Hannah Marie Price had died as a result of a homicide.
Chris Daughtry’s Wife Denies Claims That Her Daughter Died In A Homicide-‘We Were Not Told That’
Deanna, for her part, raised Hannah with Chris, who happened to be her stepfather. But their whole world turned upside down when the 25-year-old was found dead.
In response, the authorities had reportedly arrested Hannah’s boyfriend as part of their investigation. But as of now, there is nothing to suggest that he was involved. In an official statement, Deanna rejected claims that there was a homicide involved.
She said: “The news floating around that we said our daughter’s death is being investigated as a homicide is false! We were not told that and never said that to anyone!”
This begs the question, where did these rumours emerge from? Well, it turns out that Deanna had some suspicion simply because she could not believe that her daughter would kill herself.
In addition, given that she had made some reservations to people within her inner circle, it looks as though these things had gotten out with the eventuality that the authorities became involved.
She added: “The day Hannah was found, I shared some concerns I had with some people I know and said we won’t know anything for sure till after they complete the investigation.
“Someone took that and went running with it…None of us can go jumping to conclusions.” That is why Deanna has urged those who were responsible for doing such a thing to stop engaging in this type of behaviour.
After all, it is only going to exacerbate things, given that the police are no closer to finding out what had happened. In addition, the only way that the whole family can get some closure is if the authorities can uncover what went down.
In this way, Deanna has urged anyone who may know something to come forward. Her following comments confirmed as much: “If you have information that you feel the police should know about this, then tell them and let them do their job.
“I lost my child, and I’m having to now also deal with rumours and assumptions about her.” Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
