AEW Rampage is airing on Saturday this week, and with that being Christmas Day – they have a big episode planned for fans. However, it was taped in the Greensboro Coliseum after AEW Dynamite went off the air – meaning that we have all the results from the fans in the arena, and it won’t be a night to miss. This is the warning to get out and not get spoiled if you’re looking to avoid that.
AEW Rampage Match Spoilers
There is four matches booked for Rampage this week. First up, Jungle Boy defeats Isiah Kassidy by Submission. Jungle Boy got a great reaction from the crowd, but HOOK got a bigger one. HOOK was able to defeat Bear Bronson, also by submission. The Tazzmission is doing him well so far, and even a giant like Bear Bronson fell to him.
Kris Statlander & Leyla Hirsch had a fun little match, with Statlander getting the win. The big match from this episode is Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara with the TNT Championship on the line. Rhodes will defeat Guevara, using a combination of the Tiger Driver ‘98 and a series of Cross Rhodes, making him a three time TNT Champion.
Cody Rhodes Is Once Again A Champion
This puts Cody Rhodes in yet another reign as TNT Champion, still being the only man to hold it multiple times. His first reign started by defeating Lance Archer – and ended with Mr. Brodie Lee running him down. Rhodes would take the belt back from Brodie in a Dog Collar Match, which ended up being the final match of Brodies life, as he’d pass away later that year. Darby Allin took the belt off Rhodes, before losing it to Miro – who was dominant until Guevara came along.
Now, the belt is back on Rhodes – who is set to feud with Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky. These should be great matches, and fans are pushing for Page to finally win some gold in AEW.
