Musician Pink made the dreams of one fan come true, when she decided to have a Zoom call with her after learning about her story.
Pink Makes A Cancer Sufferer’s Dreams Come True By Having A Zoom Call With Her
The fan in question, Diane Berberian, had been diagnosed with terminal cancer which required her to receive hospice care. And her story was very moving, given that she had run a marathon just recently.
In order to make sure that other people garnered awareness over what she had been through, Pink made sure that the 63-year-old had something positive to look forward to.
According to E News, Pink decided to reach out and obtain her phone number to arrange the whole thing. And by the looks of it, everything went swimmingly. According to the video, Pink and Diane had decided to talk about her cancer battle.
As the story was very moving and raised a lot of emotions, Pink could not help but show just how inspiring Diane had been to everyone.
In the conversation, Pink had reportedly stated the following: “You have a kind of bravery that I don’t understand. You’re bringing comfort to other people while you’re walking. You’re walking through this.”
Those comments really hit home, and Diane was appreciative towards Pink, who had taken out her time for her. But much more than that, there was mutual respect between the two as Diane let Pink know just how much she valued her music.
It was not only the lessons that the music often spoke about that touched her, it was also something that she personally listened to during the course of her gruelling runs.
In response, she replied: “Most of my days start with the song of the day, and it’s a Pink song usually. When I race, it’s always a Pink song.”
With the whole session then wrapping up, Pink wanted to let everybody know that Diane could serve as an example for others going through something similar and show that it is possible to still achieve your dreams.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I appreciate you and thank you.” Pink’s gesture has shown the true power of connecting with your fans.
