Radio host Ray Hadley has gone viral after he ended up slamming an anti-vaxer live on air on the grounds that their views were misinforming the public.
Radio Host Ray Hadley Slams Anti-Vaxers -‘Anti-Vaxers Are A Scourge On Society’
The Covid-19 pandemic has completely polarised society, with a visible division developing between vaccinated individuals and their counterparts.
While that would usually be an individual choice, the very fact that certain rights are being attached to vaccinated individuals at the expense of others, this has led to many feeling that something needs to be done.
And as part of that, one listener sought to highlight what they felt to be a danger caused by the vaccination programme. During an episode of his show, Ray slammed an email that was sent by one listener who was against the vaccine.
He said: “[They said] ‘400 people have died from the vaccine’…Five million have died from the virus, you d**khead.”
Clearly, Ray was very emotional about this topic which is understandable given that lives are at stake regardless of which side of the fence you stand on. And yet, the radio host took things a step further.
He increased his scorn for the listener by suggesting that their views were tantamount to giving credence towards what Adolf Hitler might have said or done during the Second World War.
He added: “I expect that during World War II you’d be prepared to listen to the rantings of Hitler and give him equal time as well… perhaps you think paedophiles have a point, and perhaps I should air their views on here.”
Having said that, though, there is an argument that people should be allowed to say what they think by virtue of being in a democratic society where freedom of speech is respected.
Nevertheless, Ray was on hand to shut down those claims by stating that any anti-vax voices should not be allowed on his radio show.
His following comments confirmed as much: “Anti-vaxxers are a scourge on society, and will never get any traction here – never have and never will.”
Ray clearly has a strong stance when it comes to the pandemic, and this is unlikely to be changing anytime soon. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
