Tonight, Diamond Mine has a big money match as Roderick Strong takes on Bron Breakker, but that doesn’t mean Malcolm Bivens is ignoring his other three wrestlers. Ivy Nile will take another scalp as she hits the ring with violent intentions. She’s currently undefeated, and that might not change for a very long time. Amari Miller just needs to survive.
Jacket Time Are Done Being Jokes
Before we’d get to this match, we got Lashing out with Lash Legend, who has Jacket Time on tonight. Ikeman Jiro & KUSHIDA are big fans, and Lash would highlight their great fashion sense. Their secret is Style Strong, and Lash knows about keeping her style Strong. However, what is going on with them and The Grizzled Young Veterans.
Last week, GYV attacked them, and KUSHIDA & Jiro intend to teach them respect tonight, and they said so in their natve tongue. Jiro snapped from happy to intense, and right back to happy during the same promo – which is just the edge he needed.
Ivy Nile Gets Pushed By Amari Miller
Miller would try to get Nile down, but her attempts were met with a hard shoulder tackle to the back. Nile would do some pushups on the back of Miller on the mat, while Wade Barrett admitted that Nile was outlifting him. Miller would get some near falls with some sneaky rollups, before a backslide saw Nile roll through.
She’d be fought into the corner, and Miller was showing some fire tonight. However, a leg lariat missed and Nile drove her down into the mat with a spear into a spinebuster before a running dropkick. She’d apply the Dragon Sleeper, and it was over.
Harland Makes His Debut
Since the start of NXT 2.0, everyone was wondering when Parker Bordeaux would make his debut. Having been compared to Brock Lesnar, hype is big for him to hit the ring. He’s taken the name of Harland, and aligned with Joe Gacy. While Gacy is trying to solve things without violence, Harland might show a different philosophy.
His opponent would be Guru Raaj, who faced Finn Balor at Superstar Spectacle. Harland is not Balor, who just drove Raaj into the mat before grinding his elbow across his face. Raaj tried to fight back before a backdrop turned into a chokeslam ended this match. After the bell, Harland kept the beating coming – before he was forced to the back. Fast and dominant debut, perfect for someone like Harland.
