Britney Spears has blasted her sister Jamie Lynn Spears in response to the latter’s recent criticism of her.

Jamie had recently spoken about her sister by suggesting that they had an altercation which resulted in Jamie becoming scared especially since her daughter Maddie had to get involved and mediate the situation.
And given that the pair are no longer on good terms, as signified by Britney unfollowing Jamie on Instagram, it is not surprising to hear that Britney has not been left pleased about what Jamie had to say.
In a post to her fans on Twitter, Britney suggested that Jamie’s comments were all part of an attempt to generate publicity for her Memoir. She said: “[You were] never around me much 15 years ago at that time.
“So why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense??? REALLY??” But this was only just the start of the criticism. It is no secret that Britney has been involved in the music industry from a very young age.
And as part of that, she managed to generate millions of dollars which ultimately led to accusations that her father Jamie Spears had been taking advantage.
Much in the same way, there was a feeling that she may have been hinting that Jamie did not have to work as hard by virtue of Britney’s success.
She added: “I know it may sound like a silly thing to most people, but I wrote a lot of my songs and my sister was the baby. She never had to work for anything. Everything was always given to her!!!”
This exchange has only gone on to promote publicity for Jamie’s book, which is probably the last thing that Britney wanted in light of her comments. The best possible thing Britney can do is focus on herself and enjoy her newfound freedom.
If she really believes that Jamie Lynn Spears had been involved in something untoward, then just as she did with her father, Britney Spears would be better off seeking legal action.
