Singer Celine Dion has been forced to cancel her world tour on the grounds that her health has taken a turn for the worse.

Reports indicate that the musician, who has won a staggering five Grammy Awards, made the decision to cancel her North American ‘Courage World Tour’ that was set to be held in April of this year because she has been receiving treatment for some muscle spasms.
While it is welcoming to hear that Celine Dion has managed to identify the health problems that she has been suffering from, the very fact of the matter is that the timing could not be any worse.
First of all, performing at concerts has already been made difficult by virtue of the fact that the pandemic has led to more cancellations, as well as making things more complicated for fans because of the increasing Covid regulations.
Secondly, in any event, this is the last thing that she wanted to hear, especially given the inception of the New Year. In an official statement, Celine said: “I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now.
“But I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing.” It is good to see Celine in good spirits, as she already has an action plan in order to get her back fit and fighting for a world tour.
She has not decided to put herself under any more pressure in that regard by having a fixed deadline. Rather, she is taking stock of things and making appropriate changes that would help her.
Her following comments confirmed as much:“I’ll be so glad to get back to full health, as well as all of us getting past this pandemic, and I can’t wait to be back on stage again.
“I feel your love and support and it means the world to me.” With so much anticipation having built up for the tour, Celine Dion’s performances cannot come soon enough.
