When it comes to Impact Wrestling Champions, no one in recent memory was as perfect in the role as Moose. While Kenny Omega, and Christian Cage might bring in viewers – Moose is a steady champion who is ready to take the company to the next level. He’s calling out champions across the board, and is eager to prove he is truly the Wrestling God. Moose also wants to see Impact Wrestling step up in 2022 – and take on some bigger venues in the process.
Moose Wants Impact Wrestling To Run Bigger Venues For Their PPV Events
While speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Moose would express interest in seeing Impact Wrestling push to run bigger and bigger venues throughout the year. Right now, Impact Wrestling generally sticks to small arenas that they have zero issues selling out, both for their TV tapings and PPV events. However, their product is good – and Moose knows they can push higher – saying the following.
“If you watch our shows, I feel our shows are just as good, if not better than AEW and WWE. I think the biggest challenge, if I was running the company, I would try to expand our following in the sense of getting bigger venues and seeing if we can draw a 5,000 or 6,000 seat arena. You never know unless you try it. Let’s see if we can start slowly running in big arenas, especially our PPVs.”
Several Challengers Waiting To Face Moose One On One
Right now, Impact Wrestling are building up to No Surrender 2022. The planned main event clash is Moose vs. W. Morrisey, the former Big Cass in WWE. They met in a triple threat at Hard To Kill, which also contained Matt Cardona. Aside from Morrisey, Moose also needs to worry about Josh Alexander – who Moose screwed over to win the Impact Wrestling World Championship in the first place.
Other potential challengers in 2022 include Matt Taven of the invading Ring of Honor faction, JONAH, and potentially even Jay White. There are a lot of money matches waiting for Moose, and Impact Wrestling are always building up more challengers for the champion.
