Royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they got married in May 2018 are said to have made a special request to Queen Elizabeth about living arrangements, but the Queen turned them down.
The Royal couple had lived in a number of homes before they moved to their current mansion in the US. After the duo got engaged, Meghan moved into Prince Harry’s two-bedroom cabin at Kensington Palace.

It is reported that after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married, they had sought Queen Elizabeth’s permission to move into Windsor Castle as they needed a bigger place, for them to raise a family. But their request was denied.

Roya Nikkhah states in her report that “they are understood to have set their hearts at first on Windsor Castle, and are believed to have asked the Queen if the living quarters could be made available after marriage.” Queen Elizabeth gave them the Frogmore Cottage instead. It is claimed that Queen Elizabeth denied the couple’s request because it was possible that their request was not “entirely appropriate.”
Prince Harry and his wife now live in California – in a nice mansion after they had stepped away from the Royal life and duties, as Harry said that he wasn’t getting enough support from the Monarchy. Harry has the stance that his family’s protection and mental health was more important than anything else.
