The Briscoes are legends of tag team wrestling, but mainly in Ring of Honor. This made their jump into GCW and them winning the GCW Tag Team Championships something that made news. Now, at the biggest GCW show ever – they’re issuing an open challenge – and seeing who has enough balls to step up and face them.
The Briscoes hit the ring ready for anything, having beaten just about every possible type of team over their career. The music of Matt Tremont would hit, a deathmatch legend – and an icon of GCW. He’d grab some plunder from under the ring before hitting the ring. However, this is just one man – and it takes two for a tag team.
The crowd was already chanting for Nick Gage before For Whom The Bell Tolls hit, knowing what was coming. Crowd reactions don’t get louder than a GCW crowd for their hero, and MDK gang was here in full effect.
Nick Gage & Matt Tremont Show The Briscoes What GCW Is All About
Gage started fast by driving Mark Briscoe through a door, before a pop up Samoan Drop for Jay Briscoe. Chairs were thrown into the ring, and at each other in the ring. Mark Briscoe and Nick Gage smashed pieces of that door over each other’s head, before Gage hit a DDT in the middle of the ring.
A pizza cutter entered the match, as Tremont was driven through a door on the outside. The Briscoes would double team Gage, setting up a Froggy-Bo through the door. Tremont got back into the ring and dumped Jay Briscoe with a uranage. A chair was thrown at his head, and Tremont fell to the outside.
Nick Gage got Mark Briscoe with a piledriver through a door. One chokebreaker later, and the three count came seemingly out of nowhere! We have new GCW Tag Team Champions – and after three matches of outsiders getting the win, GCW reigns supreme in the main event.
The GCW locker room flooded the ring, and Nick Gage would close the night out by affirming that GCW is now at the top – and is going to only get bigger from now. It’s MDK all f’n day – and that’s the end of this show.
