Singer and actress Katharine McPhee has slammed Democrat candidate Stacey Abrams after she was pictured without a mask in the presence of school children.

The disgruntlement emerged when Stacey was pictured at Glennwood Elementary School, Georgia alongside some children who were all wearing masks.
Naturally, her failure to do so led to a huge amount of backlash including from none other than her opponent Governor Brian Kemp.
And now it seems that this sentiment has been reciprocated by Katharine, as she had a few choice words to say about the issue. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Katharine said: “What the actual hell… politicians at their finest.
“Mask up the children and you yourself sit without a mask. The hypocrisy continues. I’m sure she will say… ‘but I had my mask in my hand!’”
But rather than apologising, Stacey simply claimed that this was a cheap political attack that was being undertaken during the course of Black History Month.
And her failure to apologise has led to additional criticism, given that she is advocating policies for everyone else that she does not necessarily agree with.
David Perdue, who also happens to be a candidate in the running for the Governor position in Georgia, remarked: “We all know Stacey Abrams‘ hypocrisy knows no bounds.
“Liberals’ thirst for power during this pandemic has caused enormous damage to our kids, while the elite like Stacey continue living their lives.”
This instantly led to a huge reaction on social media, as previous pictures of Stacey began to emerge showing that she had been pictured maskless on more than one occasion.
Therefore, rather than this being an innocent mistake, it clearly demonstrates that she does not necessarily agree with having to wear masks.
One person shared such a photo and wrote: “For anyone thinking she was only maskless for this photo op, she was maskless in all the photos from the original tweet. Since she deleted the tweet, here they are.”
