These rumors initially started emerging because of the manner in which Christine was able to return to work so quickly following her pregnancy.
While she did have the benefit of working out extremely well, coupled with the fact that her husband Christian had been on hand to support her, a certain subset of people suggested that Christine may have used a surrogate.
This is despite the clear c-section scar that many of her castmates have claimed to have seen, as proof that she was in fact pregnant.
But now Mary wanted to give a different side of the story. In an interview with Us Weekly, she said: “But, I mean, she was [pregnant].
“I can see why people would say [she wasn’t] because she was so tiny just with this perfect little bump. And then she was right back to her normal size within, like, a day.”
In reality, it would almost be impossible to fake such a thing by virtue of the amount of negative scrutiny that high-profile celebrities come under.
Not only that, but there would be no reason to fake such a thing especially since there would be alternative methods to have kids that are easier such as adoption.
But according to Mary Fitzgerald, it is impossible to know the chances of her faking her pregnancy given that she is not in Christine’s inner circle.
She added: “[She has] the most incredible genes in the world. I can see why people would say that [she faked it]. As far as I know, she really did [deliver her baby].
“She really was pregnant, but we don’t talk and I don’t really see her. So I couldn’t say one way or the other.” That is hardly a vote of confidence from Mary, but Christine won’t be complaining as she has continued to stand by her truth.
So much so that she let her haters know in no uncertain terms that she would not be tolerating such accusations. Christine Quinn’s following comments confirmed as much: “K y’all are beyond f–king sick.”
