Chris Rock was to present an award for the best documentary features when he made a joke directed at Will Smith’s wife about her being in “G.I Jane” due to her haircut. “Jada, I love you. G. 2, can’t wait to see you,” he said. Jada had revealed a while ago that she had been battling with alopecia which is an autoimmune disease that can cause hair loss, it’s understandable how Jada might have felt.

Just as Jada reacted to the 2015 joke Rock made where she stated that “there’s a lot of stuff we gotta handle… we gotta keep it moving,” Will Smith also said something similar last night: You’ve got to be able to have people disrespecting you and you’ve got to smile and pretend like it’s okay.
