Control Your Narrative began as an independent and self-produced idea that is based on character development and wrestling in a cinematic style.
The first we heard of it was after EC3 was released by the WWE and appeared in Impact Wrestling and confronted Moose, helping to bring out the real him that’s led to Moose becoming a dominant heel.
He talked with wrestlingepicenter.com and explained his reasoning for only appearing in Impact briefly.
“I did briefly stop by Impact. But, that was not about me. It was about Moose! Because Moose has a talent and what the Essential Character sees is talents who don’t truly show who they are. I wanted to bring that out of him. That was my sole reason for returning to Impact. That and also to end Ethan Carter the Third once and for all as that name serves me no more.”
While this was our introduction to his CYN concepts, the “Free Your Narrative” series really began about the same time he was released by the WWE in April 2020 with his partner Jedediah Koszewski.
With so many wrestlers appearing on the show by their own request, the brand has grown and with Adam Scherr (formerly Braun Strowman) they’re looking to expand into a touring company that will be televised.
Sharing your narrative
For Adam Scherr, he’s stated that he was impressed with what CYN was creating and he reached out to say he’d like to create with them at some point. The universe heard and he was released by the WWE the next day.
Recently, Control Your Narrative announced their first two live events as well as Killer Kross joining their brand and debuting at the Dallas, Texas event.

On 3/31 CYN: Dallas, the much anticipated debut of Killer Kross takes place.
