Lala Kent has revealed that the last person she dated did not pass her background checks which she decided to undertake via a private investigator.

This might seem like a radical step, but it was something that Lala decided to do as a result of finding out that her ex- fiancé Randall Emmett was being unfaithful with many women.
And in order to avoid putting herself in a similar situation, she took these drastic measures as a way to not only protect herself but also her daughter, Ocean. Sadly for her, though, the last man she dated failed to cut the mustard.
In an interview with Amazon Live, she said: “He was fine, but the PI check didn’t come back so great, so I had to kick him to the curb. [I] haven’t been on a date since. I’ve been talking to people, but no dates.
“I go on dates with my mom and [my daughter] Ocean. Such a vibe.” Although there is nothing wrong in being careful, there is a feeling that this approach is counterproductive for the following reasons.
First of all, it demonstrates a general distrust of men. Therefore, anytime that Lala decides to get close to a man, she could be put off by the smallest of things. After all, we all have things that are not perfect.
Secondly, in any event, not everybody is going to be lining up to get a background check. While they may have nothing to hide, the very fact of the matter is that it is very intrusive.
This is especially in light of Lala’s previous comments concerning the matter. In a prior statement, she stated: “I got to see what your credit is. I need to know your family history.
“I need to know everything you’ve been involved with. I’m going deep.” It is a fine line that Lala has to walk upon, but in doing so, there has to be an element of trust.
