Jay Cutler is still struggling to get over his ex Kristin Cavallari, according to reports.
Jay Cutler Is Still Not Over Kristin Cavallari-‘He Just Wishes They Were Still Together’
The couple, for their part, dated for 3 years before they made the decision to get married in 2013. During the course of that process, they raised three children together: Camden, Jaxon and Saylor.
Although they went on to split in 2020, the very fact of the matter is that Jay has struggled to move on. His dating life in the aftermath has not been great, as demonstrated when he was pictured with Jana Kramer on numerous occasions which did not materialise into anything.
Not only that, but the former NFL player also admitted that he has found dating very difficult as a result of the pandemic. With that being said, it is not surprising that Jay may have some feelings left.
A source said: “Jay is still very much hung up on Kristin. He still has a lot of love for her and wishes things weren’t as they are.” In reality, however, Kristin does not feel the same way.
She has been pictured with other men in the aftermath of their break up, notably comedian Jeff Dye. In addition, Kristin has been focusing on expanding her ‘Uncommon James’ brand as a way to keep herself busy in and amongst her love life, which is not in the best place.
But the biggest sign that the pair were not going to reconcile came from Kristin’s own mouth. She previously spoke on how they had a date together, but she recognised that things were not the same.
In a prior statement, she remarked: “I was like…It’s not there for me anymore [connection].” Therefore, the only reasonable thing for the pair to do is be there for their children.
And by having a co-parenting arrangement in place, it has allowed the couple to stay focused on keeping their children happy.
The source’s following comments confirmed as much: “They are co-parenting well, he just wishes they were still together. He deeply cares about her.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
