Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim has urged his team to take extra care after a man was robbed outside his Oppenheim office in Los Angeles.
Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim Warns His Staff To Be ‘Diligent’ After A Man Was Robbed Outside His Premises
Reports indicate that the man had his watches stolen in what was a swift robbery. It is claimed that the defendant decided to point a gun at the victim when he was exiting a restaurant that was in the same car park as Jason’s premises.
Although none of Jason’s team were in the vicinity of the incident, there is no denying that it has left them a little startled. And given that Jason and his team deal with high-end real estate, it is not surprising then that his workers could be targeted.
That is why he has advised his team to not flaunt their wealth in case something like this were to happen to them. In an official statement, Jason said: “I told them not to wear jewelry or watches anymore.
“We have to be diligent, you’ve got to look over your shoulder these days.” And yet, this is not a surprise when we look at the background information.
Fox 11 has stated that the number of crimes taking place in West Hollywood has risen exponentially. So much so that from the period of February 2021/22, crime figures increased by a minimum of 130 percent.
That has forced Jason with no choice but to warn his workers. He added: “We still have to work as normal but obviously not wearing any watches.
“[We’re] being careful, just looking around. It was very concerning, this city is having a lot of issues right now.” Just as Jason is worried, so will Christine Quinn and her husband Christian Richard.
After all, they were the victims of an attempted break-in recently which occurred as their children were asleep. While there were no injuries sustained in that regard, on another day, who knows what may have happened.
Hopefully, Jason’s advice is heeded and nothing sinister ends up happening to any of them. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
