Eddie Kingston was able to put a beating down on Daniel Garcia last week on AEW Rampage – and he made a promise that he will give Chris Jericho triple that. Tonight, Chris Jericho wants to sit down and talk this one out like men. Tony Khan will provide a table, some refreshments – but no one expects this one to end peacefully. Fines and suspensions have been said to come if they get physical tonight, but has that ever stopped Kingston?
Eddie Kingston Promises To Put Chris Jericho Six Feet Under
The Jericho Appreciation Society would hit the ring first, with Angelo Parker saying they got to come out first because even Tony Khan knows that Sports Entertainers are best. The J.A.S know to not get physical tonight, but questioned if anyone can trust Kingston, Santana & Ortiz.
Chris Jericho would say that fans were let down with not seeing Jericho last week, after Kingston had them kicked from the arena. He demanded an apology, but just got a middle finger to the face instead from both Santana & Ortiz.
Santana said that Jericho made a mistake in betraying the two men who knew him best in AEW. Daniel Garcia said that their threats are meaningless when they can’t take a swing tonight. Kingston would toss the table aside, and remind him that a beating is coming.
He doesn’t care if it’s five on three, but Jericho vowed to take them down one by one. Jericho put a hit on them, but Kingston asked Jericho if he knew what that meant. In Kingston’s world, a hit means finishing the job. He put Jericho in the ground, and Jericho finally looked worried.
Serena Deeb Gets The Win In Philly Street Fight
Hikaru Shida & Serena Deeb need to end their rivalry, so that they can both move on with their careers. They’ve been keen on tearing each other apart, with Deeb even putting Shida on the injured list. However, things will come to a conclusion tonight – as they clash in a Philly Street Fight. It begins where it started, in the exact same building as their first meeting.
Deeb would start fast with an uppercut, but Shida came back fast with a forearm smash. A missile dropkick would land, sending Deeb to the outside. Shida looked to launch off a chair for a knee strike, but instead Deeb would swing the chair into the knee. A knee breaker on the chair would follow, with Deeb looking to re-injure the knee.
Shida would have her knee tied up in the apron, before having Deeb swing for the fences with a steel chair. Deeb would use a bag of powder to blind Shida, before beating her down with the kendo stick. Shida would clear her vision with some water, before getting the upper hand using the kendo stick.
The Katana Kick was blocked using a steel chair, but Shida would look for a choke using the kendo stick. Shida would look for a powerbomb, but a thumb to the eye allowed Deeb to hit the Deebtox on the chair for a near fall.
Texas Cloverleaf would be applied after a series of knee breakers on the steel chair. Shida had no choice but to tap out. This keeps Deeb at the top of the rankings, and perhaps in line for a title shot at Double or Nothing.
