Britney Spears blasted her mother, Lynne Spears, while she recalled her role in the movie ‘Crossroads.’
Britney Spears Recalls Her Only Movie Appearance By Comparing It To Her Mother-‘It’s Actually Less Worse Than What My Mom Did’
Britney, for her part, made an appearance in the film which has been her only one ever since. During the course of the film, her character Lucy describes being rejected by her mother.
In the clip from the movie, we can see that Britney is sitting on the bathroom floor, as she pours her heart out to the other character, Ben. She then describes how her mother told her that she never ‘wanted’ her.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “When I realized my whole journey to find my mom … and she doesn’t want to see me !!! I know … PRETTY FUCKING SAD !!!
“I mean… Psss I mean it’s actually less worse than what my mom did to me in real life so.” The parallels are there for everybody to see.
Britney has blamed her mother for being the one that was responsible for creating the idea of a conservatorship in the head of Jamie Spears.
And given that Britney had to suffer poor treatment for over a decade, it is clearly something that she is not going to forget. This was particularly true, given that Britney previously addressed what she believed to be a lack of remorse.
In a prior statement, the singer remarked: “My dad [Jamie] may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea.
“I will never get those years back. She secretly ruined my life.” The response on social media was much the same. People rallied behind the singer and resonated with how she was feeling.
One fan wrote: “I believe it! That’s how my parents were with me. Toxic and cruel!” Britney has certainly come a long way, but the harsh reality is that the relationship between herself and her mother looks to be over.
And that is not going to be changing anytime soon. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
