Chrishell Stause has opened up on how she funded her $3.3 million home in Hollywood.
Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause Sold Her Wedding Ring From Ex-Husband Justin Hartley To Buy Her Home-‘Life Gives You Lemons…Add A Little Vodka’
The star of ‘Selling Sunset’ is successful in her own right. She has become one of the top real estate realtors in the game, as evidenced by the show.
While that may be the case, Chrishell did find a novel way of paying for the home. Following her divorce from ex-husband Justin Hartley, Chrishell decided to sell her wedding ring. And looking back, she had no regrets.
In an interview on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ she said: “When sometimes life gives you lemons, sometimes you’ve gotta add a little vodka. I was trying to, you know, make the best out of a situation.”
In response, Kelly replied: “I mean, what are you supposed to do, keep wearing it? I think that’s amazing. You did something good with the money.”
Despite securing a new home, Chrishell’s love life in comparison has been a disaster. She has followed up Justin with failed relationships through Keo Motsepe and Jason Oppenheim.
Justin, though, is now happily married to actress Sofia Pernas. Although Chrishell has made it clear that she does want to settle down, much like Kelly herself, she has struggled to find the right person.
But through those break-ups, Chrishell has managed to come out stronger. She added: “I am healed; there’s no anger there. So it’s nice to kind of give context and tell a story that I know a lot of people have related to.”
Fans on social media were fully behind Chrishell. Aside from the obvious financial incentive she had for selling the ring, people also viewed it as a way for her to finally cut ties with Justin.
After all, their relationship did end on a sour note. One person wrote: “Well, she probably did the right thing.”
With a Hollywood house and a fresh start, Chrishell has plenty to look forward to going forward. And who knows, perhaps she will settle down too. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
