Right now in AEW, there is a lot of talent who are showing some constant improvements. The likes of Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and more are always showing new levels to their game – and part of that comes with using the support systems available backstage. However even veterans like Bryan Danielson and Serena Deeb are always looking to improve their skills in AEW.
Serena Deeb Describes The Backstage Support Available In AEW
While speaking on Busted Open Radio alongside Mark Henry, Deeb would speak about how she’s always helping to mentor those backstage. Everyone helps each other backstage, and Deeb would describe the resources available to everyone in AEW.
“Mark Henry is at the monitor. Guess who else is front row at the monitor for every match? Bryan Danielson, the best in the world. Punk, MJF. That’s the difference. Nobody is too big to watch everybody’s work. That’s what makes for a great workplace; everybody helping everybody.
We have that at AEW and it’s great these guys are here now and have so much experience. It’s a detriment if you are not finding Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko, Jerry Lynn,[Henry, Punk, Bryan, William Regal. If you’re not finding these guys after your match…I bring my laptop and sit down with Dean or Arn and watch my match. If you’re not doing that, what are we doing? You have to.”
On Her Way To A Shot At The AEW Women’s World Championship?
Right now, Serena Deeb is coming off a big win in a Philly Street Fight over Hikaru Shida. AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa was at the monitor watching very closely – and seems to have found her second opponent. This match is likely to happen at Double or Nothing 2022.
There is little doubt that Deeb is one of the best technical wrestlers in the women’s division, and a match against Thunder Rosa could potentially steal the show. Three matches have been confirmed for the event, with CM Punk vs. Hangman Page for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship set to occur. The finals of both Owen Hart Memorial Cups are also on the way for this PPV.
