The new NXT Tag Team Champions might have been duped earlier tonight. While Kit Wilson & Elton Prince thought they were about to bed Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta – the match that Indi & Persia was offering Pretty Deadly was not against them. Instead, it’s time to see if Duke Hudson & Dexter Lumis can co-exist as a tag team tonight on NXT – with gold on the line!

Joe Gacy Is Ready To End The Haunt

Before this match – we’d catch up with Bron Breakker. After tracking Joe Gacy all night around the WWE Performance Center, with Joe Gacy feeling more like The Joker tonight with all his tricks – Breakker wasn’t even getting close.

Gacy was watching the security cameras closely – and said it was time to end this before wandering off. The tricks of Gacy are incredibly calculated – and chances are he’s gonna finish strong here tonight. It’s worth noting that the monstrous Harland was not nearby – or spotted at all tonight,

Dexter Lumis & Duke Hudson Are Both Lovers & Fighters – But Pretty Deadly Are Champions

Lumis would kick this off with Prince who grabbed a blind tag and shot for the single leg. Wilson would get a chance to focus on Lumis – before sending him off the ropes for a double shoulder tackle. A leg drop and splash combo got a one count, before Lumis sat up and nailed a huge manhattan drop.

Wilson would come off the top rope and was dropped as well – before Hudson tagged into the match. A lack of communication would already cause issues, something that Pretty Deadly has no issues with. However, Pretty Deadly doing more flirting with Hartwell & Pirotta would get these two lovers fired up.

Suddenly, these two were working like a well oiled machine with a big double suplex to Wilson. Hudson nailed a massive clothesline before tagging in Lumis, who stalked after Wilson. Even a tag to Prince didn’t help much, as Hudson got a quick tag and nailed a sidewalk slam.

Lumis would be able to nail a huge lariat – but Pretty Deadly would get the advantage in their corner. Wilson would look for a chicken wing on Lumis before he’d break free for the tag. Hudson came in fresh and was nailing some suplexes and powerslams – before some post to post lariats. Wilson was thrown into Prince with a spear – before Prince got a near fall off a small package.

Lumis would send Wilson into the steel steps – but was unable to get the tag. Hudson hit a powerslam for a near fall – before Pretty Deadly were able to nail their finish and remain champions.

Joe Gacy Gets What He Wants – Forces Bron Breakker To Take A Leap Of Faith

Following the match, the lights would go out and Joe Gacy was standing in plain sight – and wearing the Hall of Fame ring that belongs to Rick Steiner. A very emotional Breakker would make a beeline to him – and Gacy said that all Breakker had to do was ask for him. However, Gacy wants a title shot in two weeks at NXT Spring Breakin’ – and Breakker gladly accepted this.

There’s just one thing left for Breakker to do – take a leap of faith. Breakker would be shoved from the elevated platform, before being carried off by what looked like the Undertakers druids to close out this wild episode of NXT 2.0.
