Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns are no strangers to each other. They’ve clashed in the main event of Wrestlemania in the past, and tonight is the biggest main event in Wrestlemania history. This is due to Lesnar coming in as WWE Champion, while Reigns is WWE Universal Champion. It’s winner takes all, with the belts set to be unified at the end of the night. Two of the biggest and baddest men in the modern era of WWE are going to be going to war tonight, and could tear the house down.
Two Champions Will Enter – Only One Will Leave
Lesnar would take his gloves off to the start this match, taking this one bare knuckle style. A kick to the midsection would be followed by some blows to the back. Reigns was driven into the corner, before being lifted and run 20ft into the opposite corner.
Lesnar would nail a Belly to Belly Suplex, before a second. Reigns was being tossed around like a sack of potatoes, and the third suplex was followed by him being driven to the outside. Lesnar followed, and Paul Heyman would distract as Reigns hit the spear through the barricade.
He’d barely make the ten count to hit the ring before being driven down with a spear for a near fall. Superman Punch would land, dropping Lesnar to the mat. Lesnar would laugh this off, before catching Reigns out of the air and nailing the first German Suplex.
Reigns would get taken to Suplex City, with three more suplexes following. Lesnar would nail another superman punch after getting vertical. He’d look for another spear, but Reigns caught him up into the F5. Reigns would be able to kick out, but a second was quickly set up. He’d rake the eyes of Lesnar, before spearing him into the referee.
The Tribal Chief Gets The Victory
With the referee down, Reigns would nail a low blow – before Paul Heyman passed off the WWE Universal Championship. Reigns would nail Lesnar in the skull with the belt, but only get a two count once the groggy official started the count.
Reigns would nail a spear to the back, but Lesnar would fall towards the ropes allowing an easy rope break. Lesnar would block the spear into a Kimura Lock, but Reigns would be able to break out. Heyman tried to hype him up, but Reigns had concerns about his shoulder. Lesnar would go for a F5 – but Reigns blocked and hit the spear for the win!
