Amber Heard's Screen Time On 'Aquaman 2' Reduced To Just Ten Minutes Amid Johnny Depp Trial Fallout

Amber Heard’s legal trial with Johnny Depp already looks to have had an impact on her acting career.

Amber Heard’s Screen Time On ‘Aquaman 2’ Is Just Ten Minutes Amid Her Trial With Johnny Depp

The actress is not coming across in a positive light with public opinion firmly on the side of Johnny. Although that may be the case, it is ultimately a choice for the court to make, which can easily change at the flick of a switch.

And yet, it seems that Amber has already begun to pay the price. She is set to star in ‘Aquaman 2’ alongside Jason Momoa. But rather than having an integral part in the movie, it is claimed that her screen time will be dramatically reduced.

Grace Randolph, who happens to be a film journalist, has reportedly claimed the following: “Amber will, apparently, be featured in less than 10 minutes of screen time in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

It is not exactly clear if this reduction in screen time was because of her case with Johnny, but outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could be due to this for the following reasons.

First of all, Amber’s role in the first movie was very significant. She was the protagonist’s love interest when working alongside Jason.

Secondly, with the outcome of the legal case still ongoing, perhaps it is wise that Amber’s role is limited. After all, by removing her completely, there is a chance that the actress would fight such a decision.

Aside from Amber having a potentially less prominent role in the film, when it comes to promoting it, there are other telling factors too. Jason’s promotional endeavours on his social media have interestingly not mentioned Amber’s name at all.

Not only that, but Amber herself has refrained from posting much about the movie, even if she does have bigger things on her plate, that being the legal case.

Once the dust settles down, things will start to become a whole lot more clearer. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
