Thomas Ian Nicholas, star of the 1993 film Rookie of the Year and American Pie, has split from wife Colette Marino after over 12 years of marriage. Colette, a house music DJ and vocalist known as DJ Colette, filed for separation in early September 2019 for “irreconcilable differences”.
That is always incredibly vague when it comes to divorce reports but it is what it is. Prior to that, Thomas Ian Nicholas married Marino in January 2007 and would have two children together.

About the children, Colette is requesting physical and joint legal custody of their children—Nolan, born in 2011, and Zoe, born in 2016. She is also looking to block the court from awarding child support to Nicholas or herself.
Finally, there’s the matter of the prenup. Marino says that she and Thomas Ian Nicholas has one in place and of course, she wants the judge to enforce it. The thing to know about celebrity divorces is that they tend to be handled pretty quickly without the specifics coming out. When you have superstars getting divorced, that’s when we get the specifics and even some drama.
We’ll have to wait and see if anything regarding the specifics of their prenup such as what they stand to gain or lose on both sides. Also, what exactly constitutes “irreconcilable differences”?
