Chris Jericho posted on Twitter a horrifying video showing his niece being bullied and beaten while calling out the school and local news to do something about it. Apparently, this bullying has been going on for a while and nothing has been done about it despite their pleas for the authorities to do something.
Jericho wrote,
“Hey @HillsboroughSch – My niece has been incessantly bullied at #MulrennanMiddleSchool for months. Despite my families pleas, nobody did anything to help…and this was the result a few days ago. If u won’t take action, I’d love to discuss this on @abcactionnews & @wfla ANYTIME!“

Chris Jericho’s Niece Horrifically Bullied And Beaten – Star Calls Out Local News And Middle School
The clip is 11 seconds long and shows the assault happening on a sidewalk with a circle of kids throwing, beating, and kicking Jericho’s niece while she’s on the ground. The video has hard to watch and will twist your stomach.
Jericho spoke to TMZ Sports about the situation saying that while his niece is physically okay, she is struggling with the bullying emotionally and mentally. “She’s scared to go to school,” the 51-year-old wrestler said. “This could’ve been avoided as the family approached the school a few times prior but nothing was done.”
On Jericho’s post, a member of the company that owns WFLA replied saying that they would be more than happy to help, “Hey Chris, I work for the company that owns WFLA. A lot of my co-workers in News at my station are fans. If you need us to help you get in touch with WFLA, let me know and we can try to help. Sorry this is happening to your family (or anyone on the planet).”
Another niece of Jericho’s, and the older sister of the one being bullied thanked her uncle Chris for sharing the news on Twitter, and hopefully, something will finally be done about this! We hope that she is doing okay and that the school puts a stop to this senseless crap.
