Friday, May the 6th, the billionaire Elon Musk finally gave a statement, or even better, wrote a tweet regarding his support from ex-President Donald Trump.
On his social media, Twitter, the SpaceX, and Tesla owner states – “This is false. I’ve had no communication, directly or indirectly, with Trump. He has publicly stated that he will be exclusively on Truth Social.” His post is a direct reply to the one from ‘The New York Post’ declaring that Trump encouraged him.

However, ‘The New York Post’ is not the only tabloid or resource that sides with this opinion. The former Republican congressman from California, Nunes, confirms or even starts these claims.
During his feature on Fox Business, he says that Trump actually is very aware of the new buy of the billionaire. While he was following the process, he encouraged and cheered the decision of the SpaceX owner to buy the social media.
His statement says – “President Trump, basically, before Elon Musk bought it, actually said to go and buy it. Because you know the goal of our company is really to build a community where people are in a family-friendly, safe environment.”
Twitter, as a platform has made many pioneer moves during its existence. However, it is also known well for its censorship and banning of ex-President Trump.
Trump during his time as a president, and shortly after that has been obsessed with Twitter. Publishing posts on a daily and sometimes even hourly basis.
Due to these posts being of a rather ‘sensitive’ nature, they were prone to constant inspection by Twitter officials. And not only inspection but a constant deletion. This culminated with the Twitter ban of the ex-President after his loss to President Joe Biden.

Twitter’s ‘censorship team’ saw this as a violation. A violation of the Glorification of Violence Policy and had no other choice than to ban Trump from the social media.
Trump has been using Twitter as a tool through which he denies all ‘fake news’ that are not going his way. His Twitter account is still one of the loudest accounts that existed on the platform.
From the above, you can grasp the idea of why Trump is not on the platform anymore. And yes, you can connect both, him and Elon through this. He sees the ban as an insult to him. And on the contrary, he sees the invitation from Elon to re-join as a hopeless ‘beg’ to get him back. By denying his return to the platform he adds value to himself. At least that’s the psychology.
And regarding his support of Elon, that is evident. He supports his takeover since he promises to take away censorship completely. And lastly, they are past palls. Of course that they are fond of each other.
