Before his death on May 13, 2022, YSL rapper Lil Keed complained to family and friends about stomach pains. These stomach pains started days before his death.
Lil Keed Suffered from Severe Stomach Pains Days Before His Death
Lil Keed was known to have struggled with drugs and alcohol during his 24 years but he’d been sober recently. The pain got so excruciating for the Atlanta-born artist that he went to an L.A hospital for treatment.
That’s when things took a turn as both his liver and kidneys began to fail him. His younger brother and fellow rapper Lil Gotit would announce his death on Instagram saying:
“Can’t believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy #ImaHoldthisShitDown”
Speaking of YSL, Lil Keed was one of the rappers not mentioned in the state indictment. The late artist’s brother would share his thoughts on being next to him when he passed:

He also says that spoke with both Young Thug and Gunna about Lil Keed’s death and they’re both going through it but keeping their heads up about their friend and things in general.
Lil Keed and his brother were neighbors to Young Thug when they were teens and developed their interest in music largely in part to him. The two wouldn’t seriously pursue hip hop until a close friend died.
An autopsy into the “Nameless” artist’s death is expected to take place later in the week.
