Chrishell Stause took a novel approach when it came to having children after joking that she had adopted an ‘adult lesbian daughter’ from Facebook marketplace.
Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause And Her Non-Binary Flame ‘G Flip’ Adopt An ‘Adult Lesbian Daughter’ From Facebook Marketplace
Chrishell, for her part, has made it no secret that she wants to have a family. But things have not been so easy as demonstrated by her previous relationship with Jason Oppenheim.
Reports emerged that the reason they broke up was due to Jason’s reluctance to have children. While that may have been the case, the ‘Selling Sunset’ star’s relationship with non-binary Australian singer ‘G Flip’ raised the question of whether she was still intent on having children.
But after having declared her intention to adopt, Chrishell decided to pursue some extreme methods. After the comedian Grace Kuhlenschmidt posted a headline claiming that the couple had adopted her, the pair decided to play along to the joke.
The post included the following comments: “Hot off season five of Netflix’s hit real estate docuseries, Chrishell tells Yahoo! ‘I’m used to selling houses, but I’ve never bought a kid before, and this adult was only $36.”
In response, Chrishell decided to tease everyone by expressing how delighted she was. But in the process of doing so, she appeared to mock Jason’s previous reluctance of having children.
Although it was clearly in jest, her comments did start to gain traction when she replied with the following: “Jason punching the air. Thank you to all your well wishes for our bundle of joy [sic].”
The response from the fans on social media, however, was brutal. A significant proportion of people were of the view that the star was going through some issues and needed to focus on herself rather than seeking attention.
One person wrote: “She needs to find herself and learn to love herself before having or adopting a baby.” Perhaps this is a sign that Chrishell may consider adoption down the line at some point.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
