MJF was the talk of the wrestling world this past weekend, with him reportedly almost no-showing Double or Nothing. He’d show up however, and get powerbombed into the ring multiple times by Wardlow and taken out on a stretcher. Some felt this was the last time we would ever see MJF, or at least he’d be gone for months. However tonight, MJF is in the building – and has a lot to get off his chest.
MJF Calls Out Tony Khan Directly, Begs To Be Fired
On the way down to the ring, MJF would ask for his music to be cut as the fans rained the expected boo’s down upon him. He would say that he’s in a lot of pain after Sunday, but everyone wants to hear him talk. They will get Max Friedman talking.
Tony Khan is celebrating a big merger tonight, and it’d be bad if someone embarrassed him. He’s been trying to sit down with MJF for a while to make a new deal, but maybe it’s too late. MJF has been here since day one, has made incredible moment after incredible moment, but keeps getting no respect.
He’s expected to hit Grand Slam’s on a weekly basis, and somehow able to do it. MJF is someone who can carry the company on his back, and would call out fans who were clapping – wondering if they were the same calling him an unprofessional piece of shit this past week. He’d call out everyone in the back who wants his spot, saying they can have it – as he no longer wants to be here.
MJF would take a moment to focus on how fickle fans are, and says that he’s the best wrestler in the world because instead of chasing star ratings, he makes them feel something. He’s one of the biggest minute per minute draws in the industry, yet Khan still won’t open up his wallet to anyone but ex-WWE guys who can’t even lace MJF’s boots.
Would Khan treat MJF better if he was an ex-WWE guy? Maybe we’ll find out. He’d yell for Khan to fucking fire him, before we’d cut to commerical break. This situation is bleeding over onto TV now, and with MJF involved – no one has a clue what is next.
Miro Is Back
After making his debut against Samoa Joe during the Owen Hart Memorial Cup, everyone was wondering if Johnny Elite was only here for a single match. Well tonight, he has an open contract for anyone to step up and face him during tonights show in his hometown of Los Angelas. A perfect chance for a rising star to face a veteran, a debut to get some spotlight, or for someone to make a dominant return.
The return of God’s Favourite Champion, who has now fully healed up. Miro is here, and is going to redeem AEW. He’s been out of action since Full Gear 2021, and he’d level Elite with a lariat before stomping him out. The crowd was loving it, as he’d hit a heavy kick to the spine.
Even choking Elite on the ropes wouldn’t get a negative reaction, before a falling headbutt for a near fall. Elite hit the ropes to try and take Miro down, but was caught into a swinging side slam. Pump Kick would miss, and Elite hit the roundhouse kick to the head. Standing shooting star press would follow, before a running knee strike.
Elite came off the top rope with a 450 Side Senton, but Miro dodged. Pump Kick landed, and it was Game Over for Elite. The clutch was applied, and Elite would tap out.
Will Miro be stopped during this return run? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
