The road to HOOKHausen was a fun one for fans. HOOK has been a viral sensation since joining the AEW roster, being the son of Taz and showing insane natural skill in the ring. Danhausen has a magnetic energy about him, and fans have loved him since Adam Cole pulled him out from under the ring. HOOK was immune to the curses of Danhausen, and this drew Danhausen to him. Eventually they would link up, which led to HOOK coming to the aid of Danhausen when Tony Nese was beating him down. Now, as Tony Nese teams with Mark Sterling – HOOKHausen will make their AEW tag team debut, as the sole match on the Buy-In tonight.

HOOKHausen Win Their Debut Tag Team Match

HOOK & Danhausen would make separate entrances, both getting great reactions. This uneasy alliance seems to have gelled if shown by some training montages, and HOOK should be able to cancel out Nese, while Danhausen is a better wrestler than Sterling. HOOK would quickly take Nese down to start this match, and send Nese scrambling to the outside.

Danhausen tagged in, looking to avenge the 38 second loss to Nese. He’d apply a headlock, before being run down with a shoulder tackle. Danhausen showed his speed with a leapfrog, before a diving hurricanrana. Sterling ran a distraction, allowing Nese to rock Danhausen with a back elbow smash.

Danhausen would get some loud chants from the crowd, as Sterling hit a suplex – but missed the jumping leg drop. HOOK was taken off the apron by Nese, before Danhausen hit a Northern Lights Suplex. Danhausen completed the tag, and HOOK was put in against Sterling. Nese tried to make the save but was tossed with the El Camino.

Sterling was dropped on his head, before Danhausen came in to get the pinfall for the victory. The first of perhaps many tag team victories for this unlikely duo.

    MJF Actually Shows Up

For the past two years, Wardlow has been under the thumb of MJF. He did his best as the muscle of MJF, doing his bidding – despite horrible treatment from his boss. Wardlow meanwhile was biding his time, and now tonight – has a chance to get out of his contract with MJF, and sign with AEW.

He took ten lashes of a belt, defeated Shawn Spears in a steel cage, and now tonight gets to face MJF one on one. Atleast, that was the plan. MJF meanwhile has seemingly refused to come to this show – skipping AEW FanFest and booking a plane ticket out of Las Vegas.

His music would kick the main card off, and the man himself was in the building with an awful scowl on his face. Wardlow was placed in a holding cell before this match, left to stew with his thoughts on how he will tear apart MJF here tonight. Without music, he’d hit the ring instead with some massive Wardlow chants.

He fled the ring as Wardlow stepped in, before trying for a cheap shot. MJF would nearly get caught with a powerbomb, but he’d scurry away. Wardlow would drag MJF up to the apron, but blocked a sunset flip attempt. MJF would bite Wardlow on a powerbomb attempt, before some forearm smashes and an eye poke.

    Wardlow Is All Elite </h3

MJF went for a hurricanrana to block a powerbomb, getting a two count. The referee and Wardlow would catch him trying to use the Dynamite Diamond Ring, and that might have been his last trick. He’d offer to double his pay, but the handshake just caught MJF in the grasp of Wardlow.

Powerbomb would land, and the crowd wanted another. Wardlow was happy to give another, and after four powerbombs, MJF was looking like a broken man on a Halifax pier. The fifth would come quickly, but Wardlow faked out the pinfall.

Many more powerbombs would follow, and this one was over just like that. The crowd was happy to see MJF get stretchered out, and Wardlow is a free man. Tony Schiavone would announce that Tony Khan made it official, and it now All Elite.

What will become of MJF after this weekend? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
