While the story between Bam Margera and Jackass 4Ever has been long done and dusted, his saga with sobriety and rehab is ongoing. The latest setback comes after the former Jackass star broke up with his wife Nikki Boyd and opted to leave the rehab facility where he was undergoing treatment.
Bam Margera Bounced on Rehab After Breaking Up with Wife of Almost 9 Years
The two separated weeks ago, according to TMZ and Margera has pretty much been frozen out of Boyd and their son Phoenix Wolf’s lives. He hasn’t been able to see their son or contact her. As a matter of fact, she hasn’t been involved in his most recent attempt at rehab.
Margera was residing at a sober living home as part of his rehab when he simply left after not hearing from his wife and child in two weeks. From all accounts of his time at the facility, the former pro skateboarder was doing well and keeping with sobriety.
The Jackass star went missing from the facility on June 13, 2022, and a crisis intervention team brought him back two days later. After finding out that Boyd had left Florida with Phoenix, he left the facility once again.
Bam Margera is currently resuming his rehabilitation. He and Nikki Boyd married in October 2013 while he was in Iceland. In July of that year, Margera was arrested for leaving the country without paying damages on a rental a year prior. He has since said that his drinking resulted in him trashing the vehicle.
