Jodie Sweetin was aggressively thrown to the grown by members of the Los Angeles Police Department during a pro-choice protest following the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe v Wade. The ‘Full House’ star was pushed by one officer and subsequently another officer also pushed her away when she approached them with her megaphone in-hand.
The pair of forceful shoves was enough for Sweetin to crash to the ground as fellow protesters helped her up and screamed at the officers who put their hands on her.

We are not free until ALL of us are free.”
The Los Angeles Police Department also released a statement after the clip of Sweetin getting thrown to the pavement became headline news, stating, “The LAPD is aware of a video clip of a woman being pushed to the ground by officers not allowing the group to enter on foot and overtake the 101 freeway.
The force used will be evaluated against the LAPD’s policy and procedure. As the nation continues to wrestle with the latest Supreme Court decision, the Los Angeles Police Department will continue to facilitate 1st Amendment rights, while protecting life and property.”
